So finally microsoft withdraws
Its long time since i posted anything (~10 days) and finally writing my 1st post from my new compaq laptop. I just checked my inbox to know that microsoft has finally withdrawn its offer. Was all that threatening by steve ballmer a drama ? lol. Although shareholders are angry with yahoo, they were ready to accept that $33. Jerry yang has shown some excellent determination and firmness in this deal. I thought they both would gradually negotiate and come to around $35/share, but jerry was firm on $37. Maybe jerry knows the future potential that yahoo has with itself being an established brand with large no. of user base. I have already told that yahoo has got a lot of things left unexplored. I pity Microsoft as it badly needed yahoo to catch up with Google 
I suppose they would go for some another acquisition soon.
