New version of google talk

So finally it comes, the long awaited new version of google talk. It is known as ‘Google talk lab edition’ . It’s review on various tech blogs say that it has some cool new features.
Features : Group chat (like yahoo) finally that conference type thing comes, IM as usual and emoticons. Also you get your google calender notifications. This notifications will pop up as a small window and this makes sure you don’t forget any reminder.
Limitation : It doesn’t have voice calling feature and file transfer feature also. File transfer is something we really need because its frustrating to e-mail every time any file. Instead if he/she is online, quickly sending it via messenger makes sense. Bad luck, the earlier version had these features. Maybe voice calling made a bit more strain on servers.
Its a fine non-hanging software (unlike yahoo messenger). It’s light on system and is best for chatting. It’s more preferable IM than yahoo among geeks.
