HP problems

Compaq presario notebooks and HP are both fu**ing bad as they dont support several drivers like audio driver for my microphone in windows XP. I have Compaq presario C773TU notebook and windows XP loaded in it. My microphone wasn;t working and i went to it’s HP service station, they answered that there is no compatible driver for Windows XP for microphone and i will need to install Windows vista for this. I was furious at this answer. I said OK and install windows vista. He said he will charge Rs. 750 for this. When i went to some other dealer, he said there is nothing such like that.
The fact was that HP dealers are trying to cheat ignorant customers by giving stupid explanations and HP has no responsibility of this. I hope any HP man after reading this post will do the needful.
