Compaq presario laptop
Desktops are vanishing fast from the world and this process would start in india in 2 years time. I am currently searching for a perfect laptop for me and after seeing various brands, i felt Compaq would
work the best. I saw lenovo (pricy !), acer (good), Dell (why to pay unnecessarily for Vista). Finally HP and compaq, and i have selected Compaq presario 773TU.
Main features of Compaq presario (model – 773TU) :
Core 2Duo mobile processor.
~ 1.8 Ghz
2 GB RAM
15.4 inch
Price – INR 37,500 (bargained 
) ~ USD 975

I havent found its drivers online anywhere properly (HP site doesnt have it for XP). I got it from my dealer. Been lazy to upload it.
