Apple mac laptops

Something next best to Dell laptops are apple Macintosh laptops. I am really getting curious to try it out. I think i should have got $1000 worth apple laptop (i suppose they start from $1000) instead of Compaq presario laptop c773tu. Open source are the best OS if you are really the ones who get infected by viruses and Trojans frequently. Windows OS really suck in matter of security. But unfortunately there are no stores or service station for Apple otherwise i would have given it a thought. They are dashing popular nowadays and many people even in India are curious to try it out but there is no service station for it. Hope few service station and showrooms pop up soon.

I am talking about them in India. In india we dont have any apple service station. (not talking of US)
