HP Customer Care
Sunday, August 10th, 2008 | Tech news | 25 Comments
HP customer care is the worst customer care service ever seen in laptops. At least in India, they suck or maybe they fool. They give you phone nos. and half dont work. The other half are either busy or unable to reach no. or call later or leave your message (automated tape, it sucks man !). I tried e-mailing them, online complaints but nothing works. So what shall i do know ? go to consumer court ? I had ordered wi-music receiver along with My Compaq presario laptop (It had an offer). Its more than 3 months but no reply. Although, i got confirmation e-mail saying that they will dispatch the device SOON (?. lol). I got these HP customer care phone numbers :
Please contact 1800 114 772, 0124 234 6992

1800112267 (BSNL/MTNL lines within India), 30306363, 011 26388000

Thank you for using HP Total Care and giving us an opportunity to serve
you through Real-Time Chat. Please contact us again if you require any
further assistance. We are available 24hrs a day, 7 days a week.
Yeah, they are available 24×7 virtually but not practically because you dont get to talk to them or see them ever in your life. oh man, now where shall i contact HP from ? Does anyone have any Sr. person e-mail in charge of HP, specially to ‘HP Redemtion Cell’ or any no. which ACTUALLY lets you speak to some guy of HP.
Apple Iphone Coming To India Soon
Thursday, August 7th, 2008 | Tech news | No Comments
Its just matter of several weeks now when Apple in collaboration with Bharti Airtel will officially launch Apple iphone. The bad news is that Airtel intends to sell iphone at Rs. 24000 ($600). This news has made me depressed because i was planning to buy a piece for Rs. 8000 as heard by the rumors. The talks of providing 3G aren’t clear yet with spectrum allocation process is still under review by Indian government and a lot of politics in being played lately. Airtel wishes to launch iphones before Vodafone does. Whats iphone without 3G ? Business users having blackberry wont be much shifting to iphone, and actually iphone is nothing but fascination, more for teens. Business users are less likely to go for iphone because blackberry works best. The launch of iphones can be probably done in a months time. Oh god, foreign gadgets in India still suck !
