Gmail is user friendly at the cost of security

How to hack Gmail accounts ? This has been clearly shown at ‘Defcon Hackers’ conference in Las Vegas. I am not hack expert so i have negligible knowledge about hacking (Why do bad work :D) . You can read more about this here. Google also wants to attract low bandwidth users and so it has its mail system also set for them which is costing us to risk our accounts. Low bandwidth users can only be found in developing nations, so if you analyze this, google in terms of getting customers even from developing nations makes mail system such that it is properly accessible to them and in turn it costs us account security to all.

Gmail, one of the best e-mail system has gone a long way. From 2 GB to almost 7GB storage. Several hours back gmail experienced down time due to some technical problem and as a result gtalk was also not working. Although they made the official post on gmail blog. Gmail is one of the best mail system i have ever seen. Its simple but more functional and productive than other mailing systems like yahoo!, rediff or hotmail. One guy said that storage isn’t much problem nowadays in choosing which email service provider you choose but what matters is the fact that who bombards you less with ads, and frankly speaking yahoo is a master at that thing.
Being offtrack, If you are a bit intelligent and understand human psychology, the storage meter that runs in gmail which increases your storage in KB’s every second actually attracts people because you get a feeling that your mail storage capacity is increasing, but actually what does it matter if it increases because most of the people (99.5 %) don’t use them. Witty people there at google !
