Asus Eee PC Details
I already wrote about Asus Eee PC launching in India with discount and some extras. If you buy this netbook here in India, you will get a free printer and i suppose some Pendrive also with it free. Asus is first player in Indian market with small notebooks or rather netbooks.
The new model comes with Linux OS and 4 GB HDD. It weighs less than 1 Kg. Priced at Rs. 18000. 512 MB DDR2 RAM, Video cam and also Wireless LAN. There are some 40 in built apps. You will soon get Windows Version as OS as they are in process of making one soon. This models can be primarily targeted for teenagers and use of more ultra-portability with less features. You wont get any Optical Drive with this model. Currently Asus Eee PC is available in e-zone and Croma malls in Mumbai city only. We hope to see more features soon in this.
Even HCL in competition to Asus has launched its netbook Mileap X-Series about which i will write soon. Unfortunately, netbook hasn’t created much Buzz in India at least. Currently due to festive season, you can get a free printer and something like Pendrive too with Asus Eee PC.
