Why should you buy cheap laptops?

Most of freelancers would be having laptop or if not than desktop.well, i use desktop because i don’t like typing and working on laptop when i don’t blog anywhere but from my home.I have heard many people saying to me that they bought a high-config laptop with all features available on this planet and with utmost accessories.What did you spend for buying this piece?
He says about $4000.He said he saved that money and finally bought it.I would have said to him that he did a foolish mistake by spending $4000 on something which you will be changing after 3-4 years.
Buy cheap laptops.Good laptops are available for $ 700(In india) than why spent 5 times the amount unnecessarily.Anyway whatever machine you buy to work on,let it be Dell,compact or lenova,i am sure you will change that machine in 4 years time if you are a freelancer because by that time some new cool machines and systems would come and this one would become de-graded.Again after few years you would buy that new machine of high price(higher model) and the cycle continues.Better buy good laptops of dell,compact or any other company with configuration that suits your work atmosphere.You aren’t going to use that thin square machine for 10 years.Right? You will start getting restless as new featured laptops and computers come in market and will put aside this costly laptop and run after that new laptop.You go on doing this to find that $5000 laptop was of an ass kicking investment.
It’s human tendency to buy the things of highest grade but you must see the fact that you are anyhow going to get new one in few years.So buy cheap laptops(i didn’t say crap) that are moderately priced and don’t throw away your money uselessly like this.It’s just waste of thousands of dollars for nothing much.
