Domain reselling and forex trading

Well, I just saw some good domain prices at sedo being sold so i also bluntly registered few domain names. I thought they would get good prices and started dreaming of getting good dollars in short time. But wait, till i tell you. I made posts on various domain name forum to come to a conclusion that they are worth $0. Some said i must even ask for refund as i had just freshly registered 
.Too much ! . Got to know that before jumping in domain selling business it is very much (Sorry, inevitable) to study about, see how it works, regularly keep watching what type of domains sell at what price. Beginners would be advised to start with .com only and then .net and only pro will go with other TLD’s. So i would be studying all this at least 2 months and start slowly instead of registering whole bunch at once.
Another business is forex trading, would like to know what it is all about and how it goes. So 2 businesses on minds.
