New Map Interface in Google Maps

Thursday, December 4th, 2008 | General | No Comments

The google Maps interface has been reproduced in a new way, added a new features in its G-map,putting a greater emphasis on the Street view tools.

The new Google Maps control bar on the left hand side of the window has been redesigned to look more like that of Google Earth, with a “peg man”key that switches between traditional map view and the new full-screen street view.

Street View’s design is practically opposite because it would have been showed as a magnified windows when we are looking for a particular place but now it will give you a full screen privilege while the map has shrunk into the lower right hand corner. Google added : it is as like as GPS and ideally fit for driving directions.

Installing Xp on Black MacBook for Fallout 3

Tuesday, November 25th, 2008 | General, Laptop reviews | 2 Comments

I Installed Xp on my MacBook to play Fallout 3. Installing Xp ending up being a pain fist I started the install then I forgot to write now the Xp key so I had to reboot into OS X. To get the key then start the install all over again. Xp is now installed and then I’m like where do I get the drivers from the online tutorial I was following it said that the boot camp assistant would prompt me to put in a blank CD to make a driver CD well that never happened. So then I read on apples site to just put in the Leopard DVD to get the drivers. Now I’m looking for the box that me Mac Book came in 15 mins later I found the box and the little box that should of been with the big box (the laptop box) was not there. I headed back to my deck and look at my desktop on top of my desk and there the little box was. I open the box and that Leopard DVD was not there. I was like what the heck! All I had was the two Mac OS X install CD’s. 10 mins later i was like hey maybe I should try that CD. So I did and it worked. The Xp drivers install on my Black MacBook. I will post later about Fallout 3 ones it installs.
